PAVONES, is a small village, famous for one of the longest waves in the world.

ZANCUDO, on the border of Rio Cotto, is a long, long stretch of sandy beach perfect for swimming , and a great place for sport fishing.

These are the 2 villages on the east side of the Golfo Dulce that attract people from all over the world.

Community of farmers, fishermen, cowboys, nature lovers and sports enthusiasts, people live a simple life, growing rice, beans, bananas, yucca. The rich nature offers them many delicious fruits, such as mangos, water apples, pineapples, lychees, guanabanas, also breadfruits, avocados, and citrus.
