We start in Santa Teresa and then head up the north side of the peninsula to where the old countryside towns of the Nicoya peninsula are located. We drive through the traditional cattle farms, along the most magnificent white sand beaches, across rivers and through the lush jungle. We stop at a local bar called La Perla where they cook us a delicious, traditional meal.
If you would like to learn how to milk a cow in this village, this can also be organized if you let us know when booking.
This is a very remote area so if you would like to bring anything for the local families or school, it is always much appreciated.
