Important Information

Minimum age required: 5+
Equipment required: Copy of your passport, driver's license or some other valid picture ID that must be presented when you sign the mutual liability agreement required to enter the Reserve.
Attire or dress code: Closed, comfortable shoes, long pants, water, insect repellent, sunscreen and a waterproof jacket.
Prohibited activities include:
- Climbing trees or swinging on lianas.
- The use of laser pointers.
- Littering.
- Feeding the animals.
- Smoking.
- Carrying weapons of any kind.
- Entering the reserve with pets.
- Manipulating or collecting any species of animal, plant or insect whether dead or alive.
- Causing excessive noise.
- The use and possession of alcoholic beverages and controlled substances, as established by the law on Narcotic Drugs, Psychotropic Substances and Drugs of Unauthorized Use, of Costa Rica. Any person who appears to be under the influence of one of these products will be denied access to the Reserve or will be asked to leave.
- Filming for commercial purposes, without the proper authorization of Curi-Cancha Reserve, is strictly forbidden.
